We are working with a rapidly expanding, market-leading organisation in the care home sector to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. The business is entering a new phase of growth and is seeking a finance professional to support its expanding finance team based at the head office in Windsor.

The Role
As Accounts Payable Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department with responsibility for managing the accounts payable function across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing high volumes of supplier invoices and staff expense claims

Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries

Performing supplier statement reconciliations

Monitoring and clearing suspense accounts

Maintaining accurate vendor profiles and managing changes

Issuing remittance advice and processing payment runs
-
Communicating with vendors and care home finance teams via phone and email

Supporting the Assistant Accountants and the wider finance function with ad hoc tasks
You will liaise regularly with Financial Administrators across all care home sites and work collaboratively with a finance team currently made up of 17 professionals.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with previous experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger. You’ll be comfortable handling a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key requirements:

Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, or Finance Assistant role

Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes

Good communication skills – written and verbal

Ability to investigate and resolve queries independently

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Confident with accounting software and intermediate Excel skills
-
Experience working in a multi-site or shared service environment is beneficial but not essential

Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support team priorities
