The Role
In this position based in Hayes, Middlesex, you will become an integral part of a vibrant finance team working on a range of responsibilities including managing customer ledgers, processing invoices and payments and investigating discrepancies. The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement with four days in the office and one day from home each week, providing the ideal balance between collaboration and autonomy.
Key tasks include:
- Managing the customer accounts receivable ledger with a focus on timely posting of receipts and resolving discrepancies
- Processing and allocating a high volume of invoices and refunds
- Responding to internal and external customer queries via phone and email
- Supporting the finance team with expense management and ad hoc duties as required
- Ensuring accurate documentation and audit trails are maintained
About You
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience within an accounts receivable or sales ledger role, preferably within retail or wholesale environments. You will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with a confident and professional manner. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, with familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ideally, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
