Assistant Management Accountant

The Role
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will:

Support the month-end close process and assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.

Prepare P&L, balance sheet, working capital, and cashflow reports, including insightful commentary and variance analysis.

Reconcile and forecast revenue streams, order intake, and margins.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review and sign-off.
-
Produce monthly P&L reports for key business areas, providing commentary.

Maintain accruals and prepayments schedules.
-
Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding of invoices.

Produce key customer sales reports and performance KPIs.
-
Support reporting processes through tools such as Excel and Power BI.

Provide support for internal and external audit requirements.

Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
About You
You will be:

A part-qualified or finalist accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), or qualified by experience.

Experienced in a similar finance role (minimum 2 years).

Highly proficient in Excel, with strong analytical and data-handling skills.

Detail-oriented with a proactive, professional approach.
-
A strong communicator able to work effectively across UK and international teams.

Familiar with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, Dynamics, Hyperion, OneStream) and BI tools (e.g. Power BI) – desirable but not essential.

Self-motivated, with a focus on learning, improvement, and career development.
