Fast growing accountancy practice is seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their friendly team based in Watford, Hertfordshire. Your key responsibility is managing and running a portfolio of 100+ clients (Limited companies, partnerships, sole traders) across various sectors.
The Client Accountant role is suitable to someone who does not want to work for a Corporate Practice and is looking to progress their career
Key elements of the Client Accountant role include:
- Preparation and Review of Statutory Accounts for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships
- Corporation Tax Return Preparation and Review
- Bookkeeping and VAT Return Preparation and Review
- Preparation and Review of Personal Tax Computations and Returns
- Responsibility for client deadlines, compliance and correspondence. Planning and reviewing jobs sent to Outsourcers. Communicating with clients and all technical matters
- Networking skills, confident and at ease with clients and management
Ideally the Client Accountant will be a Part/Fully Qualified with considerable practice experience, be Client facing and be able to add value to Clients and in return will receive a salary of between £30k-£45k + the opportunity to progress. The Skies the Limit in terms of progression
