Graduate Compliance Analyst

Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career in compliance, risk, and regulatory affairs? We’re working with a leading automotive finance organisation to recruit a Graduate Compliance Analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), and data protection, working closely with experienced professionals in a highly regulated industry.
The Role
As part of the Compliance function, you’ll provide key administrative and analytical support to the Compliance Manager, assisting with a broad range of monitoring, policy, and reporting activities. Key responsibilities include:

Tracking regulatory developments and assessing their potential impact on business processes

Updating the periodic regulatory newsletter

Performing second-level controls under the Compliance Monitoring Plan and tracking related action plans

Identifying compliance breaches, advising management on corrective measures, and following up on implementation

Supporting AML activities, controls, and staff training initiatives

Assisting the Data Protection Officer with policy reviews, compliance checks, and training content

Updating and drafting compliance policies and procedures to align with both HQ and UK regulatory standards

Advising the business on process changes from a regulatory perspective

Overseeing compliance-related training records and producing regular management reports

Preparing quarterly and ad hoc compliance reports and presentations for internal committees
About You
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented graduate with strong analytical skills and an interest in regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Business, Law, Economics, Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

A collaborative and practical approach to problem solving

The ability to adapt quickly and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks (desirable but not essential)
