Working on behalf of one of the worlds most respected brands based in Bracknell, Berkshire there is an opportunity to join their team in the role of Credit Assessment Coordinator. As the Credit Assessment Coordinator you will attempt to recover relationships with customers who have a serious or complex complaint to help resolve them and support the underwriting function in the team. 

Main Responsibilities of the Credit Assessment Coordinator :

•    Attempt to recover relationships with customers who have a serious or complex complaint, with a desire to gather all the facts needed to help deliver a fair and reasonable outcome.
•    Investigate vehicle quality complaints thoroughly by gathering information from the Customer Relations team and by working with the rest of the team.
•    Ensure our communications adhere to the expectations of our regulators.
•    Conclude complaints by writing a clear, in depth, “Final Response” as required by the Financial Ombudsman’s Service. 
•    Complete any Payment Protection Insurance complaints and Subject Access Requests using standards letters.
•    Support the main team on the phones with the potential to take around 50 calls in a day.
•    Discuss underwriting decisions with our dealers with a proactive approach.
•    Allocate manual payments to customers’ agreements accurately. 
•    Process all incoming correspondence by scanning, recording cheques, and logging customer complaints.

The ideal Credit Assessment Coordinator should have previous experience working in a customer environment ideally within the motor finance industry. You should be able to demonstrate comfort with working in a highly regulated complaint area where a loss on a cases could be in the thousands. You must be a great communicator with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

The contract is expected to last at least 6 months and in return will receive an hourly rate of between £16-£20 per hour
