The Role
This is a pivotal role for a strategic and dynamic Director of Marketing & Communications to lead and shape the organisation’s marketing vision. You will develop and deliver a high-impact marketing and communications strategy that drives growth across accreditation, training, and advisory services.
You will lead a talented marketing team, oversee innovative omni-channel campaigns, manage the budget, and ensure every initiative delivers measurable business results. Reporting directly to the Executive Director – Commercial, you will be at the heart of decision-making, influencing brand strategy, stakeholder engagement, and lead generation across the business.
About You
You are an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record of strategy development, team management, and campaign delivery. You thrive in a senior role where you can influence decision-making, manage budgets, and lead a multi-channel marketing function. Strong digital marketing, PR, content, and events experience is essential, alongside excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing and communications strategy to support revenue and market growth

Lead omni-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, content, PR, webinars, and events

Manage and report on all marketing activity, ensuring KPIs are achieved

Maintain brand consistency and develop the organisation’s value proposition

Manage website performance, including SEO and SEM for lead generation

Collaborate with sales, senior management, external affairs, and product teams to build demand generation
-
Lead internal communications to ensure consistent messaging across all teams
-
Mentor and develop the marketing team to maximise business impact

Oversee market research activities and accreditation awareness initiatives

Manage budget and allocate resources effectively to deliver business objectives
