The Role

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Review financial results, including revenue, cost of sales, inventory, operating expenses and balance sheet reconciliations.

Ensure provisions, journal approvals and financial controls are completed accurately and in line with accounting standards.

Deliver meaningful financial analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders, identifying business risks, opportunities and performance trends.

Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning activities.

Ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX controls and internal governance requirements.

Partner with Shared Service Centre teams to improve processes, service delivery and operational efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and data quality.

Act as a key finance contact for internal stakeholders across multiple European locations.

Manage and develop a Finance Planning & Control Specialist.

Support finance projects and wider business initiatives as required.
About You
-
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).

Strong experience within financial control, financial reporting or Financial Planning & Control.

Understanding of IFRS.

Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet integrity.

Knowledge of SOX, governance, audit and compliance frameworks.

Experience working alongside Shared Service Centres.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Experience working within an international or multicultural environment.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Hyperion, Trintech Cadency or BOFC would be advantageous.
