Finance Graduate Opportunity – Launch Your Career with a Market-Leading Financial Services Group
Are you a motivated finance graduate ready to kick-start your career with one of the UK's most respected names in the motor finance sector? Are you seeking a role that offers real responsibility, structured development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one?
At RD Financial we are partnering with a prestigious financial institution to recruit a high-calibre Finance Graduate to join their dynamic team on a two-year rotational development programme. This is more than just a job – it's a career launchpad, crafted to develop the next generation of finance professionals.
The Role
As a Finance Graduate, you’ll join a forward-thinking finance team that supports both retail consumer finance and motor dealership funding operations. Over the course of the programme, you will rotate through different functions to gain a deep understanding of the full finance lifecycle – from transactional finance to reporting and analysis.
You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and be given real responsibilities from day one. Your typical day might include:
-
Preparing and reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
-
Supporting monthly intercompany and related party reporting cycles.
-
Assisting in month-end processes: journal posting, data reconciliation, variance analysis.
-
Handling payments: cash allocation, supplier payment runs, employee expenses, and credit card reconciliations.
-
Processing purchase invoices and managing accounts payable documentation.
-
Participating in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Supporting vendor query resolution and internal control adherence.
You'll be at the heart of a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, innovation, and attention to detail are key.
About You
You’re not just looking for a job – you’re looking to build a career in finance. You thrive in environments that challenge you, value continuous learning, and reward curiosity.
We’re looking for candidates who bring the following to the table:
-
A recent Finance or Accounting-related degree.
-
A minimum GCSE grade B in Maths.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level desirable).
-
A proactive, organised, and self-motivated approach to work.
-
A team player who values collaboration, yet confident enough to voice ideas and challenge the status quo.
-
A genuine interest in financial services and the motor finance industry.
-
A growth mindset – someone who loves to learn and develop.
If you're naturally inquisitive, detail-oriented, and ready to roll up your sleeves, you'll thrive in this fast-paced and supportive environment.
The Offer
-
Two-Year Graduate Development Programme with structured rotations across key finance areas.
-
Hands-on exposure to a range of finance functions, from accounts payable to intercompany accounting.
-
On-the-job training and mentoring from senior finance professionals.
-
A collaborative working culture that promotes innovation, teamwork, and personal growth.

Excellent progression opportunities within the wider organisation post-programme.
-
Competitive starting salary and benefits package.
-
Hybrid working environment (flexibility depending on business needs).
-
Full support for further professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
You won’t be sat on the sidelines – you’ll be making an impact, developing your technical skills, and preparing for a long-term career in corporate finance.
