Marlow based Accountancy Practice have a requirement for a Finance Manager. As the Finance Manager you will be in charge of practice finance, working closely with the MD and Directors on the business' financial management and planning of the business and will be involved with production of sales invoices, WIP analysis, job and staff profitability calculations and credit control.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager (Practice) include :


In charge of practice finance, working closely with MD and Directors on the business' financial management and planning
Controlling and managing the day-to-day finance operations
Forecasting and budget management. This includes monthly revision of forecasting included fee proposals
Responsible for financial and management accounting, and assisting in the preparation of Statutory Accounts
Leading production and coordination of the monthly reporting process of the financial pack (incl. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash flow reports)
Managing cash flow, supervising the credit control processes and liaising with staff members and clients directly
Analysing the fees/bills to clients based upon staff time spent/contracted fees
Calculating and submitting VAT Returns and EC-Sales list
Working closely with all teams obtaining detailed knowledge of all aspects of business, for medium- and long-term financial planning
Processing time sheets and monitoring staff time
Billing targets and creating and sending of invoices
Managing payroll for internal staff


Ideal Requirements of the Finance Manager (Practice).:

Part/Qualified Accountant
Experience using Xero
High-level Excel ability for forecasting and budgets
Excellent communication skills
Expertise across XPM, Receipt Bank, Sage 50 and Practice Ignition

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen and in return will receive a salary of between £35k-£45k plus the opportunity to join this practice in interesting growth times.
