Finance Manager (US region) – Permanent £55,000-£65,000 – Slough (hybrid)
International or Regional Finance Manager? Experienced operating in high-volume, multi-site environments in retail, hospitality, chain, and franchise operations?
Here is an exciting opportunity to join a global team as Finance Manager covering the US region. This pivotal role involves leading a dynamic team to influence and support crucial business decisions.
The Role:
As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the global consolidated month-end close and management accounting through the North American business. You will have direct management of a team in the US, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Daily communication and collaboration with teams globally are essential for accurate financial reporting.
You will also be responsible for reviewing processes for efficacy and efficiency, improving systems and enhancing data delivery.
About the Candidate:
In leading the global monthly financial close process, the ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-3 years of experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Expertise in Excel
- Strong financial modelling, analysis and forecasting skills
- Proven remote leadership abilities and experience in multi-site regional or international operations.
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- D365 and Blackline knowledge are preferred. US GAAP or FRS101.
- Candidates should be adept problem solvers with excellent critical thinking skills, capable of effectively prioritizing workloads and empowering their teams to excel.
The Offer:
Salary of £55-65,000 pa with benefits. Slough-based, hybrid working available – 3 days office-based, 2 days working from home.
