The Role
As a Legal Graduate with an ambition to become a Solicitor, you will work directly with the General Legal Counsel, supporting both strategic transformation projects and day-to-day legal operations. This is a broad in-house role offering exposure to areas including financial services regulation, litigation, commercial contracts, employment law, and more.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the business remains compliant while enabling growth and innovation within a rapidly evolving motor finance sector.
Key Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing commercial and supplier contracts

Advising on FCA regulation and consumer law matters

Supporting the customer complaints team with legal guidance

Assisting with litigation, including commission-related claims

Advising on commercial lending and banking matters

Reviewing financial promotions for regulatory compliance (FCA & ASA)

Supporting employment law and HR-related queries

Liaising with and managing external legal counsel

Attending internal and external meetings as a legal representative

Maintaining and updating legal documentation and contract repositories

Assisting the General Legal Counsel in company secretarial duties

Providing legal updates and insights to internal stakeholders
