RD Financial Recruitment (RD) based in Windsor are looking to recruit a Driven Marketing Executive based in their modernised offices in Windsor, Berkshire. RD is an independent recruitment agency specialising in accountancy and finance appointments. We have two target audiences: Clients (B2B, companies and firms who need to recruit staff) and candidates (B2C, people working in the accountancy and finance jobs). We have a database of existing clients and candidates, and an ongoing need to generate new client relationships and candidate enquiries.

Following the launch of our new website in March 2021 and investment in working with external marketing agencies, we now require a Marketing Executive to work alongside our MD, Paul, to develop and implement a strategic and tactical marketing plan to support the growth of the business

As part of our ongoing development and support to our new Marketing Executive, we’ve invested in working with a marketing recruitment training organisation, specifically designed to support marketeers and business owners in the recruitment sector. This consists of weekly group coaching and Q&A calls via video, live training webinars, face-to-face events, and an online learning platform to understand marketing for the recruitment industry.

We anticipate the Marketing Executive to be a role that requires around 20 hours per week, and we are flexible as to how these hours are worked during the working week.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Marketing Executive:

  • Work with the MD to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan, setting out long term objectives and KPI’s, alongside short term tactics for both B2B (clients) and B2C (candidate) audiences
  • Using marketing knowledge to identify the relevant marketing and communication channels including CRM, social media, website content, advertising and PR
  • Create marketing performance metrics in line with KPI’s and develop simple reporting tools to track performance and measure ROI
  • Lead the Rebranding Exercise
  • Development and rollout of brand guidelines, key messages and tone of voice
  • Develop and manage appropriate social media channels for both B2B and B2C audiences and measure and report on engagement
  • Implement monthly marketing campaigns using Superfast Recruitment “campaign in a box” content
  • Design monthly content reports
  • Setup, produce and send email marketing campaigns using CRM and Integration with other Marketing Software
  • Produce and promote regular blog content
  • Create customer journey funnels using email marketing campaigns for candidates and clients
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Manage and update website content including creating new pages and ensuring page content is optimised for SEO
  • Monitor and manage website performance using Google Analytics to track key metrics
  • Writing client and candidate case studies
  • Collecting Testimonials/Voicemails
  • Manging and working with external marketing agencies as necessary
  • Assist in producing and promoting content videos
  • Manage marketing budget and recommend appropriate spend

The ideal Marketing Executive will be degree educated, have experience gained within with a small professional services organisation (ideally in the Recruitment sector) and in return will receive a FTE Salary of £30k-£35k
