2) The Role
As the Personal Tax Manager, you will play an integral part in the firm’s personal tax function. You will take ownership of self-assessment compliance, provide technical tax advice to a wide range of clients – including high-net-worth individuals, property investors, entrepreneurs, and the self-employed – and assist in strategic tax planning initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Review personal tax and trust returns, ensuring high standards of compliance and accuracy
- Advise clients on personal tax planning and transactional tax issues
- Complete annual compliance checks and maintain accurate client records
- Work closely with a Partner to deliver proactive planning and attend client meetings
- Mentor junior team members and manage day-to-day workload distribution
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and their advisors

To succeed in this role, you will bring a background in accountancy practice and a genuine interest in personal tax matters. You may be CTA or ATT qualified (or nearing completion), and will thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment.
