Senior Accountant – Windsor | £45,000 - £55,000 + Study Support | Hybrid (3:2 split)

The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional service to a broad and interesting portfolio of SME clients. This is a well-rounded role offering both responsibility and variety, including:

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations

Managing the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts

Supporting and mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work

Managing client queries and advising on accounting treatments, tax planning, and compliance

Overseeing bookkeeping tasks and working across platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, and FreeAgent

Collaborating with partners and managers on client development and business advisory projects

Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and technical updates to maintain high standards of service
This is not a rigid or siloed role—you’ll be encouraged to get involved in all areas of the practice as your confidence and skills grow.
About You:
We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for practice accounting. You’ll ideally bring:

A strong background in accountancy practice (3+ years)

ACCA/ACA qualified, or finalist (qualified by experience also considered)

Excellent knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax rules, and VAT

Experience using cloud-based accounting systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Confident client-facing communication skills
