This is an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator role in a highly successful and expanding group of life science companies. The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of products.

The ideal candidate will facilitate efficient warehousing with 3rd party suppliers ensuring a smooth flow of products. The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator will work with suppliers to ensure the goods are ready when needed and oversee transportation from one location or place of business to another in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP).

Key responsibilities of the Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator include

  • Monitor stock levels
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Manage forecast for all products within the group in collaboration with Commercial, Finance and Regulatory teams
  • Support Line Manager to understand any risks in supply chain and forecast to escalate to Executive Team
  • Raise new purchase order requests and supervise until delivery of product into warehouse
  • Check, collate and file shipment documentation for product release to market
  • Manage regular meetings with all key suppliers/partners ensuring security of supply at all times and monitor KPIs
  • Arrange shipments (national, import & export) including preparation of relevant documentation (and legalisation & notarization if required)
  • Ensure that shipping methods comply with rules, regulations and laws
  • Keep updated on all appropriate changes to rules, regulations and laws that impact supply chain within the group (Global)
  • Arrange customs clearance
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock
  • Value re-engineering with suppliers
  • Support in cost negotiations and agreements review

The ideal Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator will have previous supply chain experience, be educated to degree level, previous experience in pharmaceutical industry and supply chain role would be preferable and in return you will receive a salary between £24k-£28k + Bonus + Excellent other benefits. The role could be suited to a recent Graduate.
